Thymosin Beta-4 (TB4) is a naturally occurring protein that promotes tissue repair, cell regeneration, and reduced inflammation. Often used as the synthetic peptide TB-500, it is popular in sports medicine for healing muscle, tendon, and ligament injuries. Thymosin-β 4 is a major cellular constituent in many tissues. Its intracellular concentration may reach as high as 0.5 mM.
